Based in the historic fishing town of Leigh-on-Sea, Osborne’s is a family-run seafood business located on the shores of the Thames Estuary in South East Essex.

The Osborne Bros business was established in the 1880s, and they specialise in sourcing and supplying fish and shellfish to customers around the world.

Brief
The brief was to create a series of bespoke illustrations celebrating the seafood company’s history in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.

The illustrations were to feature the history of the cockle boats used by the Osborne family from 1928 to present day, along with their historic premises and the Crooked Billet pub located next to Osborne Bros cafe. 

Solution
I drew a series of illustrations depicting the history of the Osborne boats and buildings. My designs were printed as posters, along with tea towels and mugs. The Osborne’s merchandise was made available for sale in their popular café in Old Leigh.
